Expand your lens and enhance your research and evaluation practice—from extractive to liberatory.
Participants receive:
Reflection exercises and activities linked to each session’s topic. These exercises will allow you to critically unpack how ingrained biases, privilege, and extractive practices are impacting research and evaluation.
Unique tools to support practical application of the things you’re learning, including printable checklists and one-pagers for project use.
Access to two exclusive Q&A discussions with Dr. Zuri Tau to go deeper into the masterclass themes as they relate to your work. (For Tier II participants)

Registration for the masterclass will open from February 17 through March 15th.
After March 15th, registration will temporarily close and will reopen for a second enrollment period from May 1 through May 15.
-
The masterclass includes 7 sessions in total.
When the masterclass opens on February 25, participants will receive immediate access to the first three sessions.
The remaining sessions will be released in groups approximately every three weeks, allowing time for reflection, integration, and practice between sessions.
Because the masterclass is virtual and self-paced, you can move through the material in a way that best fits your schedule. Many participants find it helpful to set aside dedicated time for learning, reflection, and application as they move through each session.
-
Participants who enroll in Tier II, which includes live Q&A sessions, will have opportunities to engage in real-time with fellow participants and Liberatory Research founder, Dr. Zuri Tau.
If you enroll in Tier I, you will receive full access to the virtual masterclass content but not the live Q&A sessions.
Both options are designed to support deep engagement with the masterclass, but you can choose the format that best fits your goals and interests.

If you experience any technical issues with the platform or have questions about the masterclass, please reach out to us at hello@liberatoryresearch.org.
Registration will re-open May 2026.
